Sequencing Painting Workshop | Kimberly Carmody

Developed by Vermont artist, Ric Campman, Sequencing is an approach for both novice and experienced artists to enter the process of painting at a deep and direct level. The intent is to keep the connection between the eye, the hand and the painting as direct and non-intellectual as possible.

"As Picasso and others have suggested, art making is not seeking a result, but a discovering of forms, relationships and harmonies that emerge from our process. By allowing ourselves to not know, we are in a position to recognize the new knowing that comes out of our work.
