Pamelia Stickney is a performer and musician. She has worked with artists including David Byrne, Béla Fleck and the Fleckstones, and Otto Lechner. She was crucial to the design of Robert Moog's Etherwave Pro Theremin because she was the primary test musician. Stickney was introduced to the theremin during production of the 1999 album Into the Oh by Luaka Bop. Her first solo album Thinking Out Loud was released in 2007 on John Zorn's Tzadik label. In 2013, she formed Blueblut with Mark Holub and Chris Janka. The trio released their first album hurts so gut in 2014. She was based in New York until 2005 but now lives in Vienna, Austria.
