Alon Ilsar is an Australian drummer, composer, sound designer and instrument designer currently completing an artist residency at Brooklyn College. He is the co-designer, alongside with computer programmer Mark Havryliv, of the AirSticks which allows him to trigger and manipulate sounds and visuals by slashing and striking through the air.

For this event Alon will showcase three projects that have developed in his 2016 residency at Brooklyn College. These projects are:

Voyager, a collaboration with Neshamah Dance Company, influenced by Carl Sagan's book "Cosmos," and the narrative of NASA's Voyager I & II.

Silent Spring, an electro-acoustic project dedicated to environmental concerns.

Untitled new song-based project with Fantine Pritoula (voice) and Nick Marks (synth).

The night will be visualised by Synarcade Visuals.
